Cindy's Story
I have gone through some major changes, in the past few years.... My life isn't the same as it was, when we graduated.
On March 16,2005, my mother went home, to be with the Lord.... She had been ill for some time... She was in the hospital for only a few hours... She passed away, in the PMC ICU.....
Dad and I got used to each other, without Mom... He became my caregiver... Some days were great, and some days weren't... I guess I will always be Daddy's 'little girl.;
May 7, 2014, Dad passed away.... He fell out in our garage, he was getting something out of the car, and sliped on the cord to my battery charger for my chair... He ended up with a fractured...Expand for more
hip, which was repaired... He headed down to Sea Pines, had a heart attack, and went to meet his Saviour...
Since then, I have moved from my childhood home, to a beautiful apartment... Its called Senior Palms Apartments. It is accessabke to meet my needs... The State pays for me to have assistance eight hours a day. It has taken some getting accustomed to... I LOVE it, though!
I'm still active in Temple Baptist Church, of Titusville... I still teach preschoolers, and sing in our worship choir....
I am blessed beyond belief....
Life is good,-difficult but good... The Lord blesses me, each day...
